About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Finance in overseeing daily operations of the finance department.

We now have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Loans Credit Officer for a 12 month contract with
the possibility of full time contract depending on circumstances.
Role Description
This role will have a variety of duties within the credit union. The main role will be to provide an
efficient lending service to members. Such duties to include:
- Granting loans to members in accordance with legislation, regulation and the Standard Rules of Credit Union as well as the provisions set out in the Credit Union’s written Credit Policy and
- Procedure Notes, operating strictly within the specified limits of responsibility and authority, and practising responsible lending in accordance with the Credit Union ethos.
- To ensure all loan applications outside loan officers’ remit are placed before the relevantloans officer for consideration.
- Looking after all aspects of loan administration, ensuring safekeeping of credit agreements and other relevant documentation, and practising good CDD.
- Contributing to decision-making on members’ applications for rescheduling of existing loans.
- Dealing with member queries on our products and services.

Primary Responsibilities:

Role Summary.

Role Overview:
As a member of the Member Services Team within Operations, the Member Service Officer’s main
responsibility is providing a first class service to all members of the Credit Union via all available
